The upcoming 2026 midterm election is a defining moment for AI polcy. AI has become embedded in our daily lives, but most candidates haven’t had the bandwidth to understand how AI works, much less how to regulate it.
As a nonpartisan educator on technology and society, our job is to equip candidates and voters with what they need to turn public concern about AI into political accountability, pushing for real guardrails, holding tech companies responsible for what they build, and giving local communities a voice in how it's deployed.
