Project Manager
Kate Berglund is a Project Manager at CHT, working across departments to move major initiatives forward while building responsive structures and processes that empower the organization.
Kate has over a decade of international experience taking businesses from 0 to 1, optimizing internal operations, and supporting high-profile thought leaders and social entrepreneurs. She is also a seasoned event producer, with large scale productions such as Envision Festival and Burning Man under her belt.
Kate holds a Masters Degree from the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University, where she studied political economy, international relations, and social sciences.
In addition to her academic education, Kate is also a devoted student and certified facilitator of seated and movement meditation and somatic practices and holds a Permaculture Design Certificate. Thanks to this combined intellectual and philosophical lineage, Kate is fascinated with the interplay between new technology and the lived experience of being human. She is honored to be at Center for Humane Technology, leveraging strategic and systems thinking, intellectual curiosity, and embodied wisdom to face our world’s most pressing challenges.
